Gersowitz, Libo & Korek, P.C. is one of the leading bicycle accident and personal injury law firms in New York. In a city where riding a bicycle has become part of every commute and an emerging culture for both residents and visitors, you need an experienced and aggressive New York City bicycle attorney to represent you when you are injured in a bicycle accident.
In an effort to provide our clients with the best representation possible, we are selective in the bicycle accident cases we handle. However, once you become a client at Gersowitz, Libo & Korek, P.C., you can count on us to aggressively pursue your case and advance all costs and expenses associated with your case. This means you don’t owe us a penny unless we win your case!
Andrew L. Libo and Edward H. Gersowitz founded Gersowitz and Libo, P.C. in 1984 after successful legal careers with the legendary F. Lee Bailey and Aaron J. Border. Jeff S. Korek joined the firm as a named partner in 1992 after working at a Wall Street defense firm.
The firm was founded on based upon the goal of offering the best legal services to individuals suffering serious injuries in accidents caused by the negligent or reckless actions of others. After almost 30 years, our firm’s values have not changed as they continue to represent individuals who need legal assistance in getting compensation for injuries resulting from serious accidents.
The firm’s success is rooted in the experience and knowledge of the lawyers and legal staff that make up the GLK family. Michael Fruhling joined our team in 1991 and became a partner in 1999. Associate Nicolas Bagley joined the firm in 2010.
Throughout the years, the firm grew in reputation and eventually in the need for more space. After several moves throughout New York City, GLK has called their Trinity Building location at 111 Broadway, 12th floor home since 1995.
Even though GLK has recorded many successes both in the courtroom and during closed-door negotiations, our proudest achievements have come from our work with local communities. One of the numerous community organization that we actively support as a firm is the Gardiner Foundation. This is an organization located in the Bronx that offers emotional, spiritual and financial support to families and youth members in need. Since 2009, we have been title sponsors to the foundation’s Gardiner Memorial Basketball Classic Tournament. This is a two-day streetball basketball tournament event that provides food and beverages to thousands of people in the community, along with college scholarships and other items such as laptops and electronics to select graduating high school seniors.
